Baseball...ADHD style
I saw this game and was excited that it might be a decent baseball game.
I was wrong.
While I can see how some people might enjoy this style of play, I just find it frustrating and silly. You have absolutely no control over anything, besides a batter or two. Everything else seems to happen arbitrarily and usually results in your lead being squashed. Teams ranked far below you will have 5 run innings in the bottom of the 8th inning when theyre about to lose, the batting is terrible and reminds me of the old CD-ROM baseball games where no matter what you did with the batter it resulted in one of the same 10 different hits. Oh, and *BIG HIT AVAILABLE* is code for a fly out to right. Timing and aim does nothing to affect the ball when you get a hit. It travels the same few paths over and over. Most times it is just a fly out to right or center, or an "error" so your player can actually get on base.
Your pitcher will tire every game forcing you to sub a garbage pitcher or "revive" him for 2500 gold, and, like weve seen with a million other games, gold is scarce unless you fork out the cash to buy it.
This game seems like it was made for 5-year olds. If you just want a time-waster to break up the monotony of other games, you might like this. But dont download it expecting a game that lets you level up players and establish a solid team. This isnt it. Cartoonish and silly.
If you want a real batting-focused baseball game, MLB Homerun Derby trumps this kiddie stuff.
